For great tasting drinking water with exceptional quality our purified bottled drinking water undergoes four steps of filtration, two steps of purification (reverse osmosis and deionization), and two steps of sanitization (UV light, ozonation). Purified water simply means the water is reduced down to the size of two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen, free from contaminants, chemicals or bacteria (as much as humanly possible).
The water is filtered with the first of the dual-gradient 25-1 micron filters to remove sediment and debris, down to the size of one (1) micron. A carbon filter then removes organic matter and chlorine. Then the water is filtered through the second 25-1 micron filter to remove any remaining solids that may be present, and again, filters the water down to the size of one (1) micron. This is a very effective way to remove cyst-born bacteria such as cryptosporidium and giardia.
After filtration the water undergoes the first form of purification, reverse osmosis (nano filtration), which removes 98% of all the contaminants in the water by forcing it to flow under pressure through a semi-permeable membrane which filters the water down to the size of an atom (.0006 of a micron). The membrane allows the water to pass through, but not the other contaminants.
The second form of purification, deionization, removes the positively and negatively charged particles to purify the water.
The purified water ends up in holding tanks and is circulated through an ultraviolet (UV) disinfection loop to kill any remaining bacteria.
Prior to bottling, ozone (O3) is added in small increments to create an oxygen rich environment where bacteria cannot survive and to help preserve the quality of water until you drink it. Ozone is an all natural, chemical free way to kill bacteria.
The result is an exceptional purified drinking water that is chlorine, fluoride and sodium free. Water quality test results are available upon request. Our purified water is bottled locally!
